Job DescriptionThe Rendering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all the rendering functions; both the production and mechanical aspects.
Other duties include producing quality products in a safe clean and efficient manner; ensuring that TEAM members adhere to all company policies and procedures; and submitting daily weekly and monthly reports in a timely manner and any other duties as assigned.
Responsible for supervising packaging line employees to achieve daily production goals.
Responsible for ensuring all Safety, HACCP, USDA, and company rules and regulations are being adhered too.
Ability to flex production to meet hourly changing product mix demands.
Supervise the packaging of poultry products, while meeting finished product internal and USDA criteria.
Ensure a safe work environment and take appropriate corrective action as needed, conducting safety training.
Train and monitor hourly employees taking appropriate disciplinary action as requiredProvide timely feedback to immediate supervisor regarding problems with productivity, quality, safety, downtime and regulatory issues.
Manage his/her line to achieve company yield objectives.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in agriculture industry Demonstrate ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
Must have good interpersonal skills.
Have strong mathematical background to be able to perform calculations on quality, productivity, timecards, reports, etc.
Able to evaluate employees fairly and objectively and possess strong human resource skills.
