degree in Business Management (preferred) At least 3 years of recent experience in leadership role with a poultry/animal manufacturing Demonstrate ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
Must have good interpersonal skills.
Have strong mathematical background to be able to perform calculations on quality, productivity, timecards, reports, etc.
Able to evaluate employees fairly and objectively and possess strong human resource skills.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the processing and packagingof poultry products while meeting finished product internal and USDA criteria Ensure a safe work environment and take appropriate corrective action as needed, conducting safety training.
Train and monitor hourly employees taking appropriate disciplinary action as required Provide timely feedback to immediate supervisor regarding problems with productivity, quality, safety, downtime and regulatory issues.
Manage his/her line to achieve company yield objectives Job Type:
