Floor Tech- Full Time
Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Floor Tech is responsible for thedaily maintenance of all flooring in the Facility.Essential Duties1Provides a safe, clean environment for residents in accordance with Resident CarePolicies and Procedures.2Acts appropriately under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor.3Adjusts to changes in shift assignments to meet Facility needs.4Maintains clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.5Operates steam-cleaning or shampoo equipment on carpeting.6Strips, seals, finishes and polishes floors.7Keeps work areas hazard-free and clean.8Uses care in mixing water and detergents or acids in containers to preparecleaning solutions according to specifications.9Follows a regular maintenance schedule and performs unscheduled clean upwhenever needed.10Addresses family satisfaction issues immediately in a professional manner.11Participates as assigned in the orientation of new staff and demonstrates apositive, helpful, and enthusiastic attitude.
